Ruth Rahlff

Ruth Rahlff was born in Lüneburg, Germany. She trained as a publishing bookseller and worked as an editor at both a large and a small publishing house. In 2004, she became a freelance author and editor. Her work includes stories, nonfiction and activity books, and novels for children and young adults. She also translated picture books, developed concepts for publishers, and led workshops for children. Her novel “Eulennacht. In den Bäumen von Redmoor” was nominated for the Zurich Children’s Book Award in 2020. Rahlff’s early experiences with books included reorganizing her father’s books and working in her uncle’s bookshop.
