Ronald Steckel (born 1945) worked as an author, director, composer, multimedia artist and radio-play creator. In 2005, he co-founded the nootheater with Max Hopp. In 2015, Steckel made the film »Morgenröte im Aufgang – Hommage à Jacob Böhme« with Max Hopp, Jan Korthäuer and Klaus Weingarten. The film received the Deutscher Filmgeist Prize in 2016.
