Roland Spiegel

Roland Spiegel studied at the University of Erlangen and trained as a journalist in Nuremberg and Paris. He wrote for the Munich newspaper Abendzeitung, where he served as deputy head of the arts section, and published reviews of music, film and literature. From 2004 onward, he worked for the broadcaster BR-Klassik in Munich, producing more than a thousand programs covering various styles of jazz. Spiegel is also connected to jazz as a guitarist.
