Roger Perret, born in Zurich in 1950, studied philosophy, literary criticism and comparative literature in Zurich. As a writer and editor, he focused primarily on outsider figures in Swiss literature. He edited works by Franco Beltrametti, Nicolas Bouvier, Alexander Xaver Gwerder, Annemarie von Matt, Hans Morgenthaler, Annemarie Schwarzenbach and Sonja Sekula, among others. Together with Ingo Starz, he also edited the audiobook “Wenn ich Schweiz sage … Schweizer Lyrik im Originalton von 1937 bis heute” and the anthology “Moderne Poesie in der Schweiz”.
