Rodolphe, born Rodolphe Daniel Jacquette in 1948 in Bois-Colombes, France, studied literature in Nanterre before working as a teacher and bookseller. Meeting the comic artist Jacques Lob inspired him to write comic scripts. His debut, “Le Conservateur,” was published in 1976. He subsequently wrote scenarios for adventure, fantasy and crime comics illustrated by various artists. He also worked as a journalist and author and was active as a poet, critic and exhibition organizer.
