Robert Nippoldt worked as an illustrator and book designer. He became known for books, publications, and stage programs about America and Berlin in the 1920s and 1930s. His drawings appeared in publications including The New Yorker and Time magazine. In 2012, the siblings founded Studio Nippoldt for illustration and graphic design, with a focus on science, society, and culture. Nippoldt received more than two dozen awards, including one from the Art Directors Club in New York and the International Design Award in Los Angeles.
