Rick Veitch began in the underground comics scene before studying at the Kubert School. Together with Stephen Bissette, he created the comic adaptation of Steven Spielberg’s film “1941.” Veitch produced several fantasy comics for Marvel’s Epic imprint. After Alan Moore, he took over “Swamp Thing” as both writer and artist. He later returned to independent and alternative comics, creating works including “Brat Pack.” He also worked on “Supreme,” the “Greyshirt” serial, “Aquaman,” “Question,” “Army@Love,” and “The Spotted Stone.”
