Richard Powers

Richard Powers (born 1957) is an American writer. His debut novel, »Three Farmers on Their Way to a Dance«, was published in 1985. His award-winning novels include »The Time of Our Singing«, »The Echo Maker« and »The Overstory«. Powers received the National Book Award in 2006 for »The Echo Maker« and the Pulitzer Prize in 2019 for »The Overstory«. His 2021 novel »Bewilderment« was shortlisted for the Booker Prize and longlisted for the National Book Award.
