Richard H. Thaler

Richard H. Thaler, born in New Jersey in 1945, is an American economist and a leading scholar of behavioral economics. He taught at the University of Chicago and advised, among others, Barack Obama’s economic advisers. In 2017, he received the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences.
