Regine Altegoer

Regine Altegoer was born in Bonn in 1963 and studied graphic design, or visual communication, with a focus on book illustration in Münster. She subsequently worked as a storyboard artist and layout artist at an advertising agency in Frankfurt. In 1992, she became a self-employed illustrator and initially also worked in advertising. She later focused primarily on illustrating children's and young adult books, creating illustrations for various publishers. Altogether, she has illustrated more than one hundred children's book titles.
