Amelie Benn

Amelie Benn was born in southern Germany in 1974. She studied English and German at the universities of Tübingen and Newcastle. She subsequently worked as an editor and press officer for several children’s and young adult publishers before becoming a freelance author. After finishing school, she travelled through, among other places, the Jordanian desert, the Dead Sea and the Himalayas—experiences that provided inspiration for her stories.
