Rasha Abbas, a Syrian journalist and author, published the short stories “Adam Hates Television” in 2008 and received an award for them at the Damascus Capital of Arab Culture Festival. Her short-story collection “The Invention of German Grammar” and the Christmas story “A Lonely Red Coca-Cola Glass” appeared in 2016. Her collection “A Summary of Everything That Was” was published in Arabic in 2018 and in German in 2019.
