Ralph Rainer Wuthenow

Ralph Rainer Wuthenow (1928–2013) taught comparative literature at Goethe University Frankfurt. He focused extensively on European and Japanese literature. He died in Seligenstadt in 2013. Emperor Akihito awarded him Japan’s Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon.
