Rainer Kersten

Rainer Kersten (born 1964) studied German, Romance and Dutch philology in Berlin and Amsterdam. He has worked as a translator of Dutch prose and drama; authors whose works he has translated include Arnon Grünberg, Dimitri Verhulst, Tom Lanoye, Pieter Waterdrinker and Maria Goos. He received the Else Otten Prize for his translations from Dutch.
