Rahim Taghizadegan studied physics, economics and sociology in Vienna and Lausanne. He worked in fields including space research, journalism, politics and business. An economist and economic philosopher, he founded the scholarium in Vienna and served as its rector. He also taught at the University of Liechtenstein, Vienna University of Economics and Business, the University of Halle, IMC University in Krems and the International Academy of Philosophy in Liechtenstein. His books include *The Austrian School for Investors*, *Understanding Economics Properly* and *Heroes, Villains, Visionaries*. *The Austrian School for Investors* was nominated for the German Financial Book Prize in 2015.
