Pia-Elisabeth Leuschner

Pia-Elisabeth Leuschner, born in Munich in 1966, studied English, Italian and comparative literature in Munich, Venice, Canterbury and Cologne. In 1999, she completed a doctorate on music in German and English Romantic texts. She worked as a press officer for the Lyrik Kabinett Foundation in Munich and as a freelance scholarly writer, moderator, speaker, juror and translator from Italian and English. In 2022, she co-published a new translation of C. S. Lewis’s “The Screwtape Letters” with Peter Leuschner, titled “Dienstanweisung für einen Unterteufel” in German.
