Phyllis Omido (born 1978) founded the Centre for Justice, Governance and Environmental Action (CJGEA) in Mombasa, which works on issues of justice, good governance and environmental protection. She received the Goldman Environmental Prize in 2015 for her work. In 2018, she was invited by French President Emmanuel Macron to the Paris Peace Forum.
