Philipp Schepmann

Philipp Schepmann (born 1966) is a German actor and voice artist. He studied acting at the Folkwang University of the Arts, formerly Folkwang Hochschule, in Essen. He subsequently worked at theatres including those in Münster and Cologne, as well as in Frankfurt, and appeared in television and audio productions. Since 1997, he has worked freelance as an actor and voice artist; he has also worked as a director and producer. He is particularly known for his readings of the children’s series The Little Dragon Coconut, which received several Gold Records, and for the Narnia audiobooks. In 2006, he was nominated for the German Audiobook Award for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
