Petra Sturm

Born in Salzburg, Petra Sturm studied communication science, journalism, history, and film and media studies in Vienna and France. She worked as a journalist and, among other roles, as a picture and final editor at the magazine »Falter«; she also published articles in national and international media. As a cycling historian, she focused particularly on women and cycling, the history of women’s cycling, and Jewish women athletes in Austria. Sturm co-edited »Warum feiern. Beiträge zu 100 Jahren Frauenwahlrecht« (2018) and wrote the graphic novel »Cenzi Flendrovsky. Eine Bicycle Novel« (2023).
