Petra Buck

Petra Buck was born in 1963. She studied law in Passau and Tübingen from 1982 to 1986 and passed the second state examination in law in 1990. She subsequently worked as a research assistant at the University of Tübingen, where she earned her doctorate in 1993. After a postdoctoral fellowship and further academic work, she completed her habilitation in 1999 and became a Privatdozentin, a German university lecturer with a postdoctoral teaching qualification, at the University of Tübingen.
