Peter Schnellhardt

Peter Schnellhardt was born in 1949 in Eisfeld, Thuringia. After completing his secondary education in Eisenach, he began studying theology in Jena but later discontinued his studies. He then worked as a nursing assistant before studying medicine in Leipzig and Erfurt. He worked as a general practitioner until his retirement in 2010. Schnellhardt wrote poetry and short stories, which were published primarily in anthologies. In 2021, he published his first novel, *Fenster zum Park*. He is married and has three children.
