Peter Eickmeyer

Peter Eickmeyer was born in Melle in 1964 and studied graphic design with a focus on illustration in Bielefeld. After graduating, he worked in marketing for various companies while also pursuing his career as an artist. His work was shown in numerous exhibitions; in 1995, one of his paintings was included in an art exhibition aboard the MIR space station. Together with his wife, Gaby von Borstel, he adapted Erich Maria Remarque’s novel “All Quiet on the Western Front” as a graphic novel. His other comic projects include “Liebe deinen Nächsten,” about Mediterranean refugee rescue operations, and “Der zweite Mann,” about Buzz Aldrin.
