Peter Deutschmann

Peter Deutschmann (born 1968) is a professor of Slavic literatures and cultures at the University of Salzburg, Austria. His research focuses on Russian, Czech and Polish literature and culture from the late eighteenth century to the present, as well as general literary and cultural theory, film analysis and Slavic cultural history. In 2022, he organized a nationwide Austrian lecture series on Ukraine.
