Pe Grigo

Pe Grigo (born 1972) trained as a prepress technician and studied design. She subsequently made illustration her profession, working on stories and books for children and adults. Her illustrated children’s books include “Noel und der geheimnisvolle Wunschzettel” (2018), “Bei mir zu Hause wohnt ein Tiger” (2019), and “Mein Tiger zieht um – und wir kommen mit” (2020). In 2024, she published “Sooo schön ist der Herbst” and “Sooo schön ist der Winter,” picture books that she both wrote and illustrated herself for the first time. In 2017, she received the Carl-Buch Prize for best youth-book cover and was also nominated twice for the Graf Ludo board-game graphics award. According to her biographies, Grigo has been drawing since the age of two.
