Paulien Cornelisse is a Dutch author, cabaret performer and columnist. She became known through her cabaret performances and columns, and especially through her books. According to the publisher, more than 700,000 copies of her book “Sprache ist, sagen wir mal, echt mein Ding” were sold. Cornelisse has received several awards, including the Tollensprijs, one of the oldest literary prizes in the Netherlands.
