Paula Beer

Paula Beer (born 1995) is a German actress. As a teenager, she gained experience in dance and acting with the young ensemble of Berlin’s Friedrichstadt-Palast. She made her breakthrough with her debut role as Oda in Chris Kraus’s film »Poll« (2010), for which she received the Bavarian Film Award for Best Young Actress in 2011. She subsequently appeared in notable productions including »The Dark Valley«, »Frantz« and the series »Bad Banks«. For her leading role in Christian Petzold’s »Undine« (2020), she received the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival and the European Film Award.
