Patrik Svensson (born 1972) is a Swedish journalist and author. He studied languages and literature and worked as a journalist for the Swedish daily newspaper Sydsvenskan, covering culture, social issues, politics and science. Svensson grew up near Sweden’s “eel coast.” His debut, The Book of Eels, has been translated into more than 30 languages.
