Patrick Mallet was born in Geneva in 1970 and studied in Paris. He subsequently worked as a graphic designer before turning to writing and drawing comic scripts. He made his debut in 2002 with “J’ai pas Sommail.” As an artist and screenwriter, he also worked on literary adaptations. In 2008, he received the Prix Rodolphe Töpffer in Geneva for his work about Captain Ahab.
