Pascal Quignard

Pascal Quignard (born 1948) is a French writer. His literary work comprises more than thirty novels, short stories and essays and has been translated into numerous languages. Quignard grew up in Le Havre in a family of musicians. His novel *Tous les matins du monde* (English: *All the Mornings of the World*) was the basis for Alain Corneau’s film of the same name.
