P. B. Kerr

P. B. Kerr was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1956. He studied law at the University of Birmingham and initially worked as a copywriter before establishing himself as an author of crime novels and thrillers for adults. Many of his books became international bestsellers, and several were adapted for film. His work included two German Crime Awards. He also achieved international success as a children’s author with the adventure and fantasy series Children of the Lamp.
