Owen Hopkins is an architectural historian, writer and curator. He led the Farrell Centre at Newcastle University. Previously, he was senior curator at Sir John Soane’s Museum and curator of the architecture programme at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. His published books include Reading Architecture: A Visual Lexicon, Architectural Styles: A Visual Guide, Lost Futures: An Exkurs in die untergehende Architektur des Großbritannien der Nachkriegszeit, Postmodern Architecture: Less is a Bore, and The Museum. He also wrote about architecture for publications including Dezeen, Domus, and The Architectural Review.
