Otto Dietmaier

Dr. Otto Dietmaier studied at the universities of Berlin, Tübingen, and Innsbruck. He subsequently worked in the pharmaceutical industry in a medical-scientific capacity. From 1983 onward, he worked as a pharmacist at Klinikum am Weissenhof, a psychiatric center in Weinsberg, ultimately serving as chief pharmaceutical director. He was a specialist pharmacist in clinical pharmacy, with a focus on psychopharmacology, particularly polypharmacy, changes in therapy, drug interactions, and therapeutic drug monitoring of psychotropic drugs. He also taught as part of medical specialist training and authored or co-authored several professional books on psychopharmacology.
