Oliver Brod

Oliver Brod was born in Hagen in 1971 and studied acting at the Folkwang University in Essen. From 1995 onward, he worked as a film and theatre actor and as a narrator for various broadcasters. At WDR, he worked as a literary and features narrator and was one of the regular voices of the series “ZeitZeichen.” In 2001, he received the Karl-Heinz-Walther Prize for Best Young Actor. Brod also worked as a producer and director of films and audio plays. As an audiobook narrator, he contributed to productions based on works by Christoph Hein, Matt Ruff, Jodi Picoult and Håkan Nesser, and narrated audiobooks by Dmitry Glukhovsky as well as Titus Müller’s “Spionin” series.
