Marie Bierstedt

Marie Bierstedt was born in Berlin in 1974 and gained early experience in front of the camera and in a dubbing studio. In 1988, she played the leading role in the film *Die Mondjäger*. After graduating from school, she focused on dubbing and provided the German voices for performers including Anna Faris, Kirsten Dunst, Kate Beckinsale, and Anne Hathaway. She also became known as the German voice of Kristin Kreuk in *Smallville*, Alyson Hannigan in *Buffy the Vampire Slayer*, and Chyler Leigh in *Grey’s Anatomy*. Bierstedt has also worked as an audiobook and audio-drama narrator.
