Olga Campofreda

Olga Campofreda was born in Caserta in 1987. She is an author and literary scholar who conducted research at the Institute of Italian Studies at University College London on Bildungsromans, countercultures and youth cultures. She published her debut novel, “La confraternita di Elvis,” in 2009. Her other publications include “A San Francisco con Lawrence Ferlinghetti” (2019) and “Dalla generazione all’individuo,” an essay on Pier Vittorio Tondelli (2020). Her short stories have appeared in magazines and literary blogs. Campofreda also co-authored the podcast “The Italian Files” and co-edited an anthology series about the relationship between fathers and daughters. Alongside her literary work, she coached England’s Under-20 national fencing team.
