Olaf Przybilla

Olaf Przybilla was born in 1972 in Wertheim, Baden-Württemberg, and grew up in Bavaria. He studied German literature, history, political science and sociology in Erlangen and Heidelberg. After completing his examinations, he worked as a lecturer in modern German literary studies and literary history at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen. From 2001, he worked as a northern Bavaria correspondent for the Süddeutsche Zeitung; from 2008, he headed the newspaper’s Franconia bureau in Nuremberg.
