Nora Miedler

Nora Miedler (1977–2018) studied acting at the Vienna Conservatory and performed on numerous stages before becoming known as an author. Her crime-fiction debut, “Warten auf Poirot,” was published in 2009, nominated for the Leo Perutz Prize for Viennese Crime Fiction, and adapted for ZDF. In addition to crime novels and thrillers, Miedler also published women’s fiction. She died in Vienna in 2018.
