Nikola Richter

Nikola Richter, born in Bremen in 1976, studied German, English and comparative literature in Tübingen, Norwich and at Freie Universität Berlin. She has published poetry, fiction and novels, including the poetry collections “roaming” (2004) and “die do-re-mi-maschine” (2009), the novel “Die Lebenspraktikanten” (2006), and the short-story collection “Schluss machen auf einer Insel” (2007). She has also worked as a theatre author, journalist and curator of blogs on cultural and political topics. In 2013, she founded the independent publishing house mikrotext.
