Niels Werber

Niels Werber, born in 1965, studied German and philosophy. His professional positions include a professorship in modern German literature at the University of Siegen; he also taught at numerous universities in Germany and abroad. His areas of research have included literary systems theory, society’s self-descriptions, literature and its media, the geopolitics of literature, and social insects. His monograph »Ameisengesellschaften« was published by S. Fischer in 2013.
