Born in 1951, Nicolai Worm is a nutrition scientist and author. He studied ecotrophology in Munich and earned his doctorate at the University of Giessen, initially focusing his research on the relationship between nutrition and heart attacks. In 2008, he became a professor at the German University for Prevention and Health Management in Saarbrücken. He is best known as the founder of the LOGI method and for his publications on carbohydrate-adapted diets and liver fasting. Worm has written numerous books, brochures, and specialist articles and has appeared on radio and television.
