Nicolai Hannig

Born in 1980, Nicolai Hannig is Professor of Modern History at Technische Universität Darmstadt. His publications include “Die Welt seit 1989” (co-editor, 2022), “Kalkulierte Gefahren. Naturkatastrophen und Vorsorge seit 1800” (2019), “Vorsorgen in der Moderne” (co-editor, 2017), and “Die Religion der Öffentlichkeit” (2010). “Kalkulierte Gefahren” received the Habilitationspreis of the Münchener Universitätsgesellschaft and the Turku Book Award.
