Nathan Thrall

Nathan Thrall is an author from California. He wrote *The Only Language They Understand: Forcing Compromise in Israel and Palestine*. His essays, reviews, and features appeared in publications including The New York Times Magazine, The Guardian, the London Review of Books, and The New York Review of Books, and were translated into more than a dozen languages. Thrall headed the Arab-Israeli Project at the International Crisis Group for a decade and taught at Bard College.
