Lucien Deprijck

Lucien Deprijck, born in Cologne in 1960, studied German, English and political philosophy. From 1988 onward, he worked as a freelance author, journalist and translator of English and American literature; he also worked as an editor. Among the authors he translated into German were Mark Twain, Robert Louis Stevenson and Stephen Crane. His own books include the novels Die Wälder der Verschollenen and Ein letzter Tag Unendlichkeit, as well as the story collection Die Inseln, auf denen ich strande, published by Mare Verlag in 2012.
