Natalie Bayer is a cultural anthropologist who worked as a research curator at the Munich City Museum until December 2017. As part of the project “Migration bewegt die Stadt” (“Migration Moves the City”), she developed new exhibition formats and methods of collaboration in a society shaped by migration. Her areas of focus include urban development, border regimes, politics of history, and migration history. In 2017, she co-edited the volume “Kuratieren als antirassistische Praxis” (“Curating as Anti-Racist Practice”) with Belinda Kazeem-Kamiński and Nora Sternfeld.
