Najet Adouani

Najet Adouani is a Tunisian writer. She earned diplomas in English literature and in journalism and communication. She wrote poetry, short stories, literary criticism, and novels. Her poems appeared in Arab newspapers and magazines as well as international anthologies, and were translated into Swedish, French, English, Hindi, Spanish, Romanian, and German, among other languages. Some were set to music by composers in Tunisia and Germany. Adouani took part in international literary festivals, and her work was studied at universities in Europe, the United States, and the Arab world.
