N. O. Scarpi

N. O. Scarpi, whose real name was Friedrich (“Fritz”) Bondy, was born in Prague in 1888 and died in Zurich in 1980. He worked as a feuilletonist, author, and dramaturge. He also translated more than 150 works from English and French into German, including novels by Upton Sinclair and George Orwell.
