Monika Ehrhardt was born in 1947 in Oßmannstedt. She wrote texts and poems for children. Together with her husband, composer Reinhard Lakomy, she produced radio plays and radio-play musicals. Among their best-known joint works is “Der Traumzauberbaum,” produced in the GDR in the 1980s.
