Min Jin Lee

Min Jin Lee was born in Seoul, South Korea, in 1968 and immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of eight. She studied at Yale University and worked as a lawyer before publishing her first novel. Her debut, *Free Food for Millionaires*, was followed by the widely acclaimed novel *Ein einfaches Leben*, which was shortlisted for the National Book Award.
