Milena Rampoldi

Milena Rampoldi, who holds a doctorate, was born in Bolzano in 1973. She studied theology, education, philosophy and Oriental studies in Italy. At the University of Vienna, she completed a doctorate on Arabic-language Qur’an teaching in the German-speaking world. She subsequently worked as a foreign-language teacher. In 2014, she founded the association ProMosaik e.V. to promote intercultural communication. Her books focus in particular on Islam, Islamic culture and history, Islamic feminism and human rights, and address dialogue between religions.
