Michel Mettler

Michel Mettler, born in Aarau in 1966, is an author, musician and dramaturge. In 2006, he received the Förderpreis of the Swiss Schiller Foundation for his debut novel, “Die Spange.” In 2009, he edited Jürg Laederach’s “Depeschen nach Mailland” and published “Der Blick aus dem Bild,” a book of meditations on paintings. In 2010–11, Mettler was a visiting professor at the Collegium Helveticum of ETH Zurich.
